Q: What was the first job you ever had?
A: I grew up working in my father’s upholstery shop tearing down furniture, hand pressing buttons, and doing other grunt work. It taught me the value of a day’s labor and appreciation for my roots.
Q: What is something you just can't live without?
A: Weightlifting! It’s the one time of day that I can block everything out, it gives me energy, helps me sleep, and always puts me in a better mood.
Q: What got you into mortgages?
A: After years in automotive finance, mortgages seemed like a natural next step. The Big Short by Michael Lewis may have played a factor, too.
